Joey really liked the sheep. He kept sticking one finger into the pen to touch their noses. I was trying my best to warn him not to let the sheep bite his finger without making him scared of the sheep. It worked - he didn't get bit, and he spent a good part of his time at the fair trying to climb into the animal pens. Guess he wasn't scared.

did you also teach him how to push sawdust into the sleeping pigs' snouts?
Joey picked up sawdust that was outside of the pen and put it back in (rather tediously). Next year we'll work on sleeping snouts.
This picture reminds me of a time when Grandma told me we went to the zoo when I was little, maybe around 4-6, and I was trying to pet a goat, and it kept biting me. But that didn't stop me. Very adorable picture!
